V collar. Boiled wool

Re-invent does not necessarily consist in working on the way a garment is constructed (see our square shape round collar) or changing the xxxxxxx or the knitting (see the hand-made knitting we use). Innovation can simply be brought in with a mere change of material.

We used here boiled wool. The yarn is obtained through a treatment carried out in very hot water. The phenomenon is the same as when you forget to choose the right washing program for your knitwear and leave it in hot-intense program. Your sweater then drops from L size to XS size! Here the process is of course totally under control and to the contrary will get to a hand touch light, comfortable and soft. Differently from large part of the collection, we obtain aspects which are less “nervous” as we call them. We allow the fabric to yield hairy surface aspects. The more you wear the sweater, the “hairier” and softer it will become.

The Smart Casual version will ideally be worn on a white shirt. Perfect for a Friday Wear. Black pair of formal trousers (matches the black parts of the sweater) or blue stone washed pair of jeans (matches the bright purple blue of the sleeves) will make it just right.
